1) Fabric Flange Cover:
Fabric Flange Covers are very flexible and covers the entire length of the guard. These are also called full-face flange protectors as they cover the sides of the flanges. ANSI Flange Covers are designed to protect from spray-outs of corrosive fluids such as acid,oil and steam.These are available in the following technical Fabric:

• PTFE Flange Cover:
All our flange guards are made of multiple layers of PTFE Coated fiberglass fabric with an inner scrim. The internal scrim enables the safety splash shields in depressurizing the spray from flanges. Twisted PTFE covered ropes are utilized on the Flange which are fire retardant and dont decay. Velcro is given on the outer parts of the Safety flange covers allowing it to remain secured. These Flange Splash Covers can sustain High Temperature & Extremely corrosive chemical. • PVC Flange Cover:
High quality PVC covered Fabric material is joined to frame different layers for a superior mechanical obstruction. 2) Non Metallic Flange Cover

• Plastic Flange Cover Strap Type: Plastic Flange Guards or Plastic flange covers are made from UV Stabilised PP – HDPE Sheets, These Plastic Flange Covers are designed for low and medium exposure of temperature and chemicals. These Plastic flange protection covers are low cost but give a decent protection during spray outs.
• Plastic Flange Cover Box Type:
These PLASTIC FLANGE COVERS are also available in box type which completely boxes or houses the flanges, Plastic Flange Covers Box Type are also made from UV Stabilized raw material. Plastic Flange protection Covers Box Type are held together with fasteners which come along with the guards.
3) Metallic Flange Cover
Fabric Flange Covers are very flexible and covers the entire length of the guard. These are available in the following technical Fabric:
• SS316 Flange Cover With Quick Double Locking Latch:
These metallic flange spray shields are one of the best available metallic flange covers at the moment. These flange covers are made from marine grade stainless steel –SS316 L. These ss flange protection covers have a pressure diffusing mesh which completely removes the pressure from a spray out and converts it into a harmless drip. These are also called snap on flange protectors due to its quick locking mechanism.
• SS316 Flange Cover Box Type:
These SS316 FLANGE COVERS are also available in box type which completely boxes or houses the flanges, These are also made from marine grade SS316. These are held together with fasteners which come along with the guards.
Selection Of Flange Covers:
It is very crucial to determine the correct material of your flange guard or flange cover. Choosing the correct Chemical flange cover will help in reducing your procurement cause, providing maximum safety with a long use life. The following must be considered when choosing an ansi flange cover.
1) Temperature: Every Flange protection Cover has a different temperature range. We must select the one that accommodates our temperature.
2) Chemical Compatibility: We must choose the chemical flange cover which is compatible to our chemical service fluid.
3) Proximity To Electrical Connections: If there is close proximity of a leak probable joint to a electrical point than it is suggested to ask for a flange protection cover with a drain point. The spray from the joint can be diverted through a hose connected to this drain in the flange cover.

INSTALLATION:
Installations of all flange protection covers are very easy. It does not take any manpower or special equipments to install.
• Fabric Shields
Place the Flange Guard symmetrically on the flanges and fasten it with the velcro. Make sure that the litmus patch is on the outside. There are ropes on the side of the guards. Bring them together & pull them firmly. This will fold the flange and cover the nut bolts. Always remember to tie the ropes in a square knot as these wont get loose under pressure. Please do not pull the rope backward as it might damage the shield
• Metal Shields
Place the shield on the flange such that the flange is in the center of the shield. Now wrap the guard on the flange and put the double locking latch in one of the slots. Make sure that you choose the slot which gives a snug finish i.e. Neither too tight or loose. Then pull the back locking lever back to lock the guard. It generally takes roughly 20 secs to install a guard.
• Non – Metallic Flange Cover
Wrap the Plastic Flange Cover around the flange see to it that the center of the guard is aligned to the center of the flange joint. The plastic fastener head should be facing inside the belt. Make sure all the four orange holders are secured to the flanges. This prevents the flange cover from slipping off the flanges. Insert the threaded portion of the bolt in any of the given holes and tighten the nut securely. Do not tighten the Plastic flange cover very tightly to prevent pressure buildup. During maintenance un-tighten the nut and take the belt slowly of the bolt. Remove the cover and release all the Orange holders. After completing, maintenance put the Plastic Flange Cover back on.
