Astm A 193 grade B8M class 2 Full threaded Stud Bolts are made from Stainless steel, AISI 316 which have been carbide solution treated & strain hardened(cold drawn to increase tensile properties). It is the process of strain hardening that marks the difference between ASTM A193 grade B8m class 2 & class 1 Full threaded Stud bolts. We manufacture these AISI 316 Full threaded Stud Bolts with great precision & Quality.

What is Strain Hardening? AISI Stainless steel strain-hardened relates to the alloys of stainless steel that were plastically deformed by low temperature cold forming. The mechanical deformation results in decreased cross-sectional region, increased strength and decreased ductility. The strain hardening method does not change the chemical properties, however, and the resulting stronger AISI stainless steel maintains its elevated corrosion.
Strain hardening parts, such as AISI stainless steel bolts, are produced through a cold drawing method that decreases the required size of the over-sized rods or bars. A compression system draws down the steel material with a greater diameter than the one required for the finished item. The mechanism places the material under a higher tension and stress ; this strain decreases the diameter while improving the material's endurance.
Strain hardening is done to prevent the problem of galling between the thread of nuts and the stud or bolts. Galling is a form of wear caused by adhesion between sliding surfaces. When a material galls, some of it is pulled with the contacting surface.< br>
INDANA STEEL manufacturers the best astm astm A193 grade B8M class 2 Bolts through our strong quality system and superior threading mechanism. The following process is involved:
INDANA is a pioneer in stud bolt production and has been manufacturing the same since 34 years. We have only one principle and that is quality. Quality of product and quality of services. In the industry, INDANA AISI STUD BOLTS are known for the quality and readability. You can sen us your inquires on info@indanasteel.com
Why do we roll thread our bolts?
Thread rolling is the preferred technique of generating powerful, smooth, accurate and uniform internal thread patterns. Thread rolling is a process of cold forging that can be carried out on any ductile metal. Other mechanisms for thread formation on stud bolts and hex bolts invloves removing material to generate the shape of the thread, but the rolling of the thread displaces the material with hard steel dies. The outcome of dies pushing the surface atoms into the shape of the thread instead of weakening it by removing material is that the grains become denser in the critical areas of the thread, particularly in the root and on the flank below the diameter of the pitch of the stud bolts. The rubbing action of the steel dies also generates an outstanding micro-finish (better than Ra32). The superior finish enhances assembly between external and internal threads and decreases wear among mating parts, thus expanding their lives. A smooth finish is another advantage that roll threaded components have over other threaded components.
At INDANA, Your safety is our priority. Lastly the product pricing is very reasonable and cheapest in the Indian market. We believe in giving our Customers a better product at even better prices. Indana AISI Steel Stud Bolts are uncompromising on quality.
